En los \u00faltimos veinte a\u00f1os, la matriculaci\u00f3n en educaci\u00f3n superior (HE) en todo el mundo casi se duplic\u00f3, pasando del 19% -en el a\u00f1o 2000- al 38% -en el a\u00f1o 2018-. Seg\u00fan el estudio, dicho aumento se produjo de manera geogr\u00e1ficamente desigual.
